More stormy weather headed for Georgia

ATLANTA (AP) - The National Weather Service says more showers and thunderstorms are headed for Georgia.

Weather service forecasters say partly sunny weather early in the day on Monday will give way to a possibility of showers and thunderstorms early in the afternoon mainly in the north and central portions of the state. Gusty winds are expected.

Forecasters say the chance of storms increases Monday evening, with a chance that some will be severe.

Mostly sunny weather is expected Tuesday, with a slight chance of more storms in south Georgia Tuesday morning.
