Suspect convicted for 2008 Auburn rape case

LEE COUNTY, AL -  On Tuesday, April 12, 2011, the Circuit Court of Lee County, AL, found Curtis L. Williams, age 32, of Chilton County, Alabama, guilty of Rape 1st Degree. 

The conviction stems from a March 30, 2007, rape which occurred at an apartment complex located on West Glenn Avenue in Auburn. 

A subsequent investigation led to Williams being identified as the suspect.  He was charged with the crime in August 2008. 

Williams is scheduled for sentencing on May 25, 2011.
