BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -  Remember "Tiger Prowl"?

Auburn football assistants would visit state high schools in stretch limousines and fancy tour buses.

Back in April 2010, the NCAA forced Auburn officials to stop the tour, saying it may have violated the NCAA's "bump rule", which states that coaches cannot meet face to face with prospects during the spring.

Now, NCAA officials say they are investigating the Tiger Prowl. Auburn Associate Athletic Director Scott Carr says the NCAA is looking into the practice as a whole.

At this time, no individual coaches at AU are being targeted or investigated by the NCAA. Still, NCAA representatives said an investigation continues, while Auburn officials remain committed to playing by the rules.

Back in 2009, the NCAA cited AU for a handful of secondary rules violations for it's part in "Big Cat Weekend."
