Elderly man found in good condition

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) –   According to Columbus Police Lieutenant Ronald Hastings, they have found an 82-year-old man who was reported missing Friday.

According to Lieutenant Hastings, Coleman Metts had gone to Wal Mart on Airport Thruway on Thursday and got lost trying to return to his Windsor Park home. He drove to Opelika and then to Dawson, during the 46 hour time period he was missing. He suffers from dimentia.

Authorities say Metts was tired, hungry, thirsty, but was in good condition.

    An unwelcome visitor was cause for some tense moments and quick action in the King household Saturday morning. Krystal King says it was about 7 a.m. when Stephen, her oldest son, came into his parents' room to notify them about the "big snake in the bathroom."
