2 University of Ala. students die in storms

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - The president of the University of Alabama says 2 of the school's students are among those dead after storms pummeled the state.

University president Robert Witt confirmed Thursday that two students were among the dead in Tuscaloosa, which was hit especially hard as tornadoes carved a path of destruction across the South.

More than 250 people died as the storms moved across six states, including at least 180 in Alabama.
