Opelika police say a Phenix City man was so desperate to gather the components he needed to make meth, that he robbed two pharmacies and then took police on a high speed chase. Elizabeth White has more from our East Alabama newsroom.

Another witness has come forward from Sunday's car crash in Columbus, that claimed the life of Smiths Station high school senior Natalie Windham, two weeks before graduation. We have an update on the investigation and the family of the victim, who are making funeral arrangements.
