AU former football players seek youthful offender status

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) – Two Auburn football players accused of involvement in an armed robbery in Lee County appeared in court Thursday morning.

In a quick hearing,  Kowaski Kitchens and Antonion Goodwin applied for youthful offender status.

Dakota Mosley applied for youthful offender status via waiver.

A hearing for all three has been set for May 31st in judge Christopher Hughes' courtroom at the Lee County Justice Center. All three are under the age of 21.

Michael McNeil was not in court and pleaded not guilty with a waiver of arraignment.

Auburn head coach, Gene Chizik, kicked all four off the football team after the incident in March.
