COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Parole officers went to make routine arrests in south Columbus and ended up arresting five suspected drug dealers.

At 9:30 Wednesday night, members of the Columbus Police Departments' Special Operations Unit, Office of Probation and Parole and Community Impact Program went to serve arrest warrants on two men at a trailer in the Pine Grove Mobile Home Park. It's located on Plateau Drive off of Victory Drive.

Officials say they found marijuana, crack cocaine, ecstasy pills and a hand gun.

Raymond Richmond, 24, Robert Lewis, 23, Shenita Wilson, 26, Geneva Wilson, 26, and Robert Harrell, 27, were all arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of Ecstasy with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime and Possession of a Drug-Related Object.

Richmond and Lewis were also charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Officials say Richmond and Lewis are the men listed on the original arrest warrants. Court records show Raymond Richmond was on probation for drug charges. Documents show Robert Lewis received First Offender status for a theft and weapons charge.

Officials say Harrell struggled with officers during his arrest and was charged with Obstruction of a Police Officer.

Police say everyone except Harrell lives in the trailer.

According to Captain Gil Slouchick who oversees the Special Operations Unit, the drugs were found in plain view in the bathroom.

Captain Slouchick believes the group was selling the illegal narcotics.

The drugs were seized by officers.

Management at the Pine Grove Mobile Home Park say they don't condone this type of activity on their property and it's grounds for eviction.
