Columbus Police seek driver in connection with accident

COLUMBUS, GA - Crime Stoppers and the Columbus Police Department Motor Squad are requesting assistance in locating a driver and a vehicle.

On May 06. 2011 at approximately 1152am, an accident occurred at 14th Street and Veterans Parkway. The driver of a 2006 Grey Suzuki Burgmon 650 Motor Bike was traveling west on 14th Street, when the accident occurred.

As the driver passed through the intersection, an unknown vehicle traveling south on Veteran's Parkway entered into the intersection causing the vehicle to swerve and lose control of the Motor Bike. The driver was transported to the Medical Center.

Witnesses stated that a Red or Maroon 1990's to 2000 year model – small "Toyota Camry style vehicle",could have been responsible for motorcycle accident. The vehicle was driven by a white female in her late 20's to early 30's with blonde hair.
