Judge denies gag order for two former AU players

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) – Friday afternoon a Lee County circuit court judge denied requests for a gag order on behalf of two Auburn football players accused of robbery.

Judge Chris Hughes said the requests were too broad and denied the orders for Shaun Kitchens and Antonio Goodwin.

Kitchens, Goodwin and Dakota Mosley have applied for youthful offender status.

Kitchens and Goodwin have already had their youthful offender status hearings, but Judge Hughes will wait to decide all three requests, after Mosley's hearing on June 10th.

The fourth suspect in the case, Michael McNeil is too old to apply for youthful offender status.

He has plead not guilty to the charges.
