Police release surveillance photo of bank robbery suspects

COLUMBUS, GA (WXTX) –   Columbus police are looking for two men they say robbed a bank.

BB&T Bank at 6100 Whitesville Road was robbed by two black males armed with black colored semi automatic handguns Monday afternoon.  They entered the bank and took an undetermined amount of currency.

The suspects left in a two toned single cab pickup described as a 92 to 96 GMC or Chevy, dark blue over light blue. The truck was described as being somewhat beat up and was not running very well.

The truck left driving north on Whitesville Road occupied by the two suspects.

The truck had a Georgia tag with the first two letters BM.
