There's talk today about ending the decades' long tradition of rolling the trees at Toomers Corner after Auburn victories. Late this afternoon, a meeting was held in Auburn, to discuss alternative celebrations, because the iconic oaks are deteriorating after being poisoned last year.

The trash pick up controversy continues as Columbus's city council gets even closer to passing a budget for 2012. Will changes be made so that your garbage is picked up just once a week, to save money?

Phenix City council member Arthur Sumbry Senior appeared in court today for felony forgery and perjury charges brought up against him earlier this year. We'll explain what happened at this pre-trial hearing.
