COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce is now a national award winner.

The chamber just received the gold award for their "I am the Chamber" campaign, which allowed chamber of commerce members to share television, radio, billboard and Internet testimonies about what the organization has done for them and their business.

Chamber Executive Vice President Janeen Tucker said, "It's a really great story of this region of teamwork and collaboration of what can be done when partnerships come together."

"The Chamber of Commerce is a group of individuals who make this organization what it is through their contributions so who better to tell what we've done than the people who benefited from it?" said Bill Becker with Basset & Becker Advertising.

Columbus was up against 83 chambers of commerce all over the country and was one of three selected for the honor.
