GA senator releases new iPhone app

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Georgia U.S. senator Saxby Chambliss announces his office has released a new mobile application for iPhone, iPad, and iPod users.

We are told it is the first official application to be offered by a U.S. senator.

The Chambliss app is available for free in the iPhone App store.

Constituents can find in real time Sen. Chambliss' position on a topic, his newsletters, watch videos and see photos.

They will also have the opportunity to participate in surveys.

For more information, watch the introductory video on YouTube.
