Car accident kills 26 year old Phenix City woman

SEALE, AL (WXTX) -  A young Phenix City woman is dead after a single car accident Saturday night in Seale.

Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. tells News Leader Nine 26 year old Cheryl Malloy was riding in a Ford pick-up truck down Highway 431 when a single vehicle crash ejected her from the truck, killing her. Malloy was pronounced dead at the Columbus Medical Center after 8 o'clock.

Alabama State Troopers worked the accident, which occurred near mile marker 102 on Highway 431. The details surrounding what caused the wreck are still unclear.

Cheryl Malloy's body is being sent to the Alabama State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
