COLUMBUS, GA (WXTX) -  The two young men responsible for planting razor blades in a Lakebottom playground are now paying for their crime.

Gary Bryan and Derrick Fullum stood before Judge Allen in Superior Court Monday and entered guilty pleas for their crimes.

Along with charge of criminal damage to property for duct taping razor blades to playground equipment in May 2010, the two young men were also facing arson charges for setting a vacant house on fire.

Now 18 year old Gary Bryan and 24 year old Derrick Fullum will spend seven years in prison with four years of probation to follow when they get out.

Along with the charges in Muscogee County, Bryan and Fullum are thought to be connected to a church arson in Phenix City, but that investigation is still on-going.
