COLUMBUS, GA (WXTX) –  It was a quite scene Saturday afternoon on Plateau Drive in Columbus. But Friday night around 10:30 PM that wasn't the case.

Columbus Police and Emergency Medical Services were called out after a report of a shooting at the Pine Grove Mobile Home Park.

Columbus Police tell Fox 54 that 40-year old Alton Tucker was shot in the chest and rushed to the medical center. He was later pronounced dead just after 3 am.

In fear of retaliation, people who live in the area were not willing to go on camera with us Saturday. A man who lives across the street from where the shooting took place told us that Alton Tucker was a good man. He says Tucker didn't live in the mobile home park but was visiting friends at a party.

The Manager at Pine Grove Park Corinne Holton released this statement to us over the phone: "Our job is to protect our tenants. We are deeply sorry about what happened and we will work with Columbus police to help in any way possible."

Authorities have identified one of the subjects involved in the shooting. 24-year old Jorge Mendoza-Infante was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with murder. Police are also looking for Christian Antonio Ulloa. He is 18-year old and described as 5'5 168 lbs with black hair cut above his ears.

Anyone with information on this case or the location of Ulloa is asked to call Columbus police at 706-653-3400.
