COLUMBUS, GA (WXTX) – Jorge Mendoza-Infante, a man connected to a deadly weekend shooting pleaded not guilty to a murder charge Monday morning.
The shooting occurred late Friday night at Pine Grove Park mobile home park off Victory Drive.
Alton Tucker was shot in the chest and rushed to the Medical Center where he was pronounced dead just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday.
Meanwhile, Columbus police are looking for a second suspect in connection with the same Friday night shooting.
Christian Ulloa is 18 years old and described as 5'5, 168 pounds with a black hair cut above his ears.
In court, Detectives with the Columbus Police Department say Mendoza-Infante told them during an interview that he was driving the car and Ulloa was riding in the passenger seat.
He says Ulloa told him to slow down and leaned over him to shoot Tucker out the driver side window. Mendoza-Infante says he hasn't seen Ulloa since the shooting.
Police believe Ulloa has fled from Columbus.
