Soldier from Warner Robins killed in Iraq

WARNER ROBINS, GA (WXTX) – The Department of Defense announced the death of a Georgia soldier who was supporting Operation New Dawn.

Specialist Robert g. Tenney Jr., 29, of Warner Robins and two other soldiers died June 29th in Badrah, Iraq.

Military officials say the men died Wednesday when enemy forces attacked their unit with indirect fire.

All were assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment based at Fort Hood, Texas.
