COLUMBUS, GA (WXTX) - Do you have what it takes to be America's Next Top Model?
Hundreds of girls flocked to the Peachtree Mall in Columbus on Saturday for their chance to find out.
High heels were everywhere at Peachtree Mall as the reality show America's Next Top Model held a casting call.
Girls from all over took to the runway to strut their stuff.
Ina Vowell drove from Knoxville, TN for a chance to try out. She said, "Ehen you are a kid you have a dream of so many things, being a doctor or teacher. And, as you get older those dreams fade. That is one dream I never want to fade."
Saturday was Vowell's first time on a runway. She described the experience, "So, actually my legs were shaking a little bit."
Columbus native Indigo Pullen says she has been told all her life that America's Next Top Model is the show for her. "Because I am tall, probably. They say I have something different. I hope Tyra sees that," explained Pullen.
Only one girl will get the chance to go on to audition in front of the show's producers.
What ever happens, Vowell said she is glad she tried. Her advice for others, "If anyone has dreams, follow them to the fullest. At least give it a shot. If you get turned down, at least you know you tried."
At 6 p.m. the top ten contestants will do a final walk for the judges before the lucky winner is announced.
