Food deliveryman robbed, told to count to100

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -   Columbus police say a delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint.

A China Wok employee told police he was delivering food to a home in South Andrews Circle around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday when he was held up by three men.

A police report indicates the unknown suspects took the deliveryman's food and almost $300 in cash - about $20 was taken out of his right pocket and $279 was taken from his car's glove box.

The victim told police, during the robbery, was held down by one of the suspects who held him at gunpoint and told to count to 100.

The victim also told police that he was kicked in the back and hit in the face with an unknown object.

After further probing, it was discovered that the deliveryman was directed to a vacant home.
