Tuesday's National Night Out: Columbus, Troup County, Auburn

The Columbus Police Department will go to various neighborhoods in the area, promoting crime prevention. For a list of locations that they will be visiting, click here.

A group will honor National Night Out at the Britt David Studio from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Their focus: "Empty Bowl".
Empty Bowl is Columbus Parks & Recreation's fund raising project to help fight hunger in our area.
Stop by the studios to learn more about helping the community through art.

Troup County

The Troup County Sheriff's Department posted on its Facebook wall that officers and  K-9 crime stopper, McGruff, will be in West Point, GA Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The public is invited to participate. Just stop by the West Point Housing Authority.

Auburn

This is Auburn Police Division's second year of participation. Members of the division will be present Tuesday evening in the Ridgecrest housing community and Grove Hill subdivision. Residents of those neighborhoods are encouraged to come out and support the event.
