DAWSON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a fire that destroyed a vacant building that once served as Terrell High School in Dawson.
WALB-TV reports that firefighters battled for hours against the blaze that erupted about 11 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities say the building, which was slated for demolition, is a total loss.
No one was injured in the fire, which is being treated as suspicious by investigators.
Dawson is about 25 mile northwest of Albany.
