COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Teachers and students at Hardaway High School were in for a scare today after a bomb threat was called in to the school.

This was not the first time the school has been on lockdown this week.

For the second day this week Hardaway High School was on lockdown, due to bomb threats.

Officials tell us an anonymous caller is dialing 9-1-1 and telling dispatchers a bomb is about to detonate inside the school.

Hardaway was put on lockdown and after police searched the building, they were given an all clear.

A Connect-Ed message was sent to parents of students here and how class is back in session.
Police are trying to figure out if this is one person calling in or if there are multiple suspects.

Muscogee County Schools released this message to media:

"Hardaway High School was on lockdown within the last hour and has been given an all clear following a bomb threat that came in to 911 around 9:00 this morning.  Students and staff are safe.  Police are investigating. Classes have resumed as normal. "
