ATHENS (WTVM)- Nike unveiled the Pro Combat Uniforms the Georgia Bulldogs will sport for the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff game against Boise State on September 3rd.

The uniforms are red from head to toe with black socks and numbers. The silver helmet features a red stripe down the middle with the "G" insignia on both sides. Black and silver gloves combine together to form another "G."

General consensus from the fans on Facebook and Twitter is not good, but the players like the look. "I love them, I think they're awesome," wide receiver Tavarres King said after practice today.

Head Coach Mark Richt added: "It's not what we would call a traditional uniform but it's not a traditional game either."

UGA announced that they would be the first to show the new uniforms on their Facebook fan page this morning, but Nike beat them to the punch putting pictures on their website this morning.

Georgia put up an extended slide show on their website.
