Alabama ranks No. 2 behind Oklahoma. The Tide received 17 of a possible 60 first place votes. LSU received one first place vote and will start the season ranked No. 4.

Auburn, as last season's national champion, will start the season No. 23, one spot behind where it began in 2010.

Georgia is ranked No. 19 but the biggest surprise for them is that their first game opponent, Boise State is ranked No. 5 adding more pressure and hype to the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff game.
