Contracted high school janitors busted for selling cocaine

HAMILTON, GA (WXTX) - Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators busted two men for possession and intent to distribute crack.

Victor Lamar Hutchinson, 33, and Lontario Jerome Howe, 39, worked as contracted janitors at Harris County High School in Hamilton.

The Sheriff's Office received a tip from a juvenile that the men were selling drugs at the school.  With this information, they set up an operation to buy drugs from the men.

At 3:30 on Thursday, Hutchinson met an informant of the Sheriff's Office across the street from the school and sold an amount of crack.  Hutchinson was arrested.  Investigators say he had on his person 10 grams of crack, worth $1,000 in street value, and marijuana.

An hour later, informants met Howe at the same location.  When he tried to sell them crack, he was arrested.

Hutchinson and Howe were at work before their arrests. Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley said both had the drugs with them while working at the school and there is an indication they were selling drugs at school.

Both are being held in the Harris County Jail and charged with possession with intent to distribute.
