RUSSELL COUNTY, AL - A Peterman, Ala., man has been killed after his motorcycle was involved in a crash with a car.
It happened near the intersection of Highway 80 and North Heering Road Friday evening. The Russell County Coroner's Office confirms the man who passed away is 38 year old Melvin Dewayne Lee. His body has been sent to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
The driver of the car was taken to the East Alabama Medical Center.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the deadly crash.
