Ala. sees 3 possible tornadoes as Lee moves on

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say possible tornadoes struck two towns in south Alabama and a town in the northeast part of the state as the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee moved through.

Authorities said the violent storm Sunday damaged city hall in Rainbow City near Gadsden and scattered trees across roadways. No injuries were reported.

On the coast, possible tornadoes were reported Sunday in Lillian in Baldwin County and Bellfontaine in south Mobile County.

Authorities said trees were snapped, power was knocked out and at least one home was damaged.

No injuries were reported in those counties.

So far, no deaths have been reported in Alabama as a result of Lee. Authorities continue to search for a teen swept away in rough waters at a Fort Morgan beach.
