FULTON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Another reward has been offered for information that could lead to the perpetrator in an animal cruelty case.

Norred & Associates, an Atlanta-based security firm, decided to contribute $5,000 to the reward fund.

As of Friday the reward is now $6,000.

This week a Fulton County Animal Control officer discovered a pit-bull mixed breed dog with an arrow piercing its head.

Officers found the dog on Kenner Drive in SW Atlanta after a resident contacted Atlanta Police.

The dog was taken for emergency veterinarian care and the arrow was removed.

Once it recovers from its injuries the dog will be available for adoption.

If you have any information that might help in solving this animal cruelty case please contact Fulton County Animal Services at (404) 613-0358.
