Find Your Way to The Scottish Rite Little Theatre

COLUMBUS, GA - The Scottish Rite Little Theatre presents You Can't Get There From Here by Pat Cook. Local actor/playwright, Jonathan S.E. Perkins, directs this endearing comedy.  The production runs October 7 - 11 and October 14 – 16, 2011, at the Scottish Rite Little Theatre, located at 1027 Second Ave. Tickets are $15. Seniors (65+) and groups of 10 or more can enjoy the discounted admission of $10. Tickets are available for purchase at the box office one hour before the scheduled performances.

You Can't Get There From Here follows newspaper reporter Arthur Lyman as he checks into the Mavis Garner Bed and Breakfast. He decides to do an expose on a local pothole "scam". During his stay he's fined eight times, dragged across town by the local watchdog and fired from his job. What else could he do but fall in love with one of the proprietors! When his boss shows up and takes over the story, he's treated to scenes from Shakespeare, slipshod séances and a witch who can't keep her hexes straight. Sandra Coffey, Susan Dolan, Sam Greulich, Bonnie Hagerty, Sonnet Moore, Jean Morris, and Lou Smith are among the talented group responsible for bringing these characters to life.

"Audiences can expect a relaxed and enjoyable evening." said Dan Dawson, the show producer. "We even encourage theatergoers to bring along a basket of their favorite goodies to our intimate space. We will have theater seating and table seating available. They can also look forward to free snacks, tea, and coffee at intermission."

Performance schedule is:

Fridays @ 7:30 PM

Saturdays @ 7:30 PM

Sundays, @ 2:30 PM
