Auburn left out of Harris Poll, drops out of Coaches Poll

WTVM - Following their 38-14 loss at Arkansas, Auburn fell in the polls. The Tigers dropped from 15th to 24th in the Associated Press Poll, and dropped out of the USA Today Coaches Poll completely after entering the week ranked 23rd. Auburn was left out of the first week of the Harris Interactive Poll.

The Harris Interactive Poll had the same top nine as the AP Poll this week with LSU at the top followed by Alabama. The AP Poll top 10 remained the same as the week prior with the top teams all winning by an average of 34 points.

The biggest change to the AP Poll was the absence of a Florida school. Florida and Florida State dropped out of the rankings, and for the first time since December 6, 1982 no school from the Sunshine State is ranked.
