Tide's C. Kouandjio, Watkins injured

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Alabama suffered two significant injuries in Saturday night's victory over Tennessee according to head coach Nick Saban. Freshman offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury and senior linebacker Alex Watkins will likely be out for 2-3 weeks with a broken arm.

"We had two injuries in the game," said Saban. "Alex Watkins broke his arm so he's going to be out for a couple, three weeks probably. Cyrus got a pretty significant knee injury that is going to require surgery so he's probably going to be out for the remainder of the season. Even though those two guys aren't starters, they're guys that have made a lot of contribution, especially to the depth of our team."

Kouandjio played in seven of eight games as a reserve at offensive tackle. Watkins, who plays outside linebacker and is also a participant on special teams, has seen playing time in every game to this point and has 13 total tackles with one sack and a forced fumble.
