COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The Columbus Police Department says it needs the public's help finding a burglary suspect.

The burglary happened September 22 at the Payless Shoe Source located at 3087 Victory Drive.

The suspect entered the store after throwing a rock through a window, taking an undisclosed amount of money and two pair of sneakers.

The suspect is described as a black female in her 30s to 40s. She is about average build and possibly 5'04 and 5'06.

In a surveillance video, she is seen wearing a short afro-style, wearing a light green short-sleeved shirt, acid-washed blue jeans and white sneakers.
