Cop Testifies: Suspicious of Clean House...Toyota Issues Recall

Here's what we are working on for News Leader 9 Morning!

Testimony continues today in the trial of Kenneth Jones. He's accused of killing a 14-month-old boy in 2009. Prosecutors say he was watching his girlfriend's son while she was at work and that's when the boy died. One investigator testified he became suspicious after walking into the house, and noticed it smelled like it had recently been cleaned.  He also noted the child was on the floor, well dressed and looked like he'd had a bath.

Still no word on how the Swift Mill caught fire Saturday. Meanwhile, investigators have released a picture of a man they say is a person of interest in the case. They believe he was near the mill when the fire began, and they want to see if he has any information related to the case.

Toyota has announced a major recall. The automaker is recalling 420,000 cars in the U.S. because of a potential problem with the power steering. The recall covers certain Toyota and Lexus vehicles with V-6 engines built from 2004 to 2006.
