Romney to headline Georgia fundraiser

ATLANTA (AP) - Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will headline a fundraiser in Atlanta next week.

The former Massachussetts governor is set to appear at the $500-per-person event at the Georgia Aquarium. Those who donate $2,500 apiece will be able to meet Romney at a VIP reception.

Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens and House Majority Leader Edward Lindsey are among those on the host committee.

There was no immediate word on whether Romney would hold any public events while he's in Georgia.

Two Georgians are also in the presidential race: former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and onetime Godfather's pizza executive Herman Cain.
