Mike Gaymon of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce submitted a letter Monday morning to the city stating that he is resigning from serving as chair of the city's Crime Prevention Board.
He noted in his letter that he needs to focus his attention to the goals and mission of the Chamber of Commerce and that he feels he does not have the time to continue to adequately lead the Crime Prevention Board.
Gaymon has been serving as chair of the Crime Prevention Board and a member of the Crime Prevention Commission for the past two years.
