Two Shot at Club...Gold and Silver Trading Open for Business

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - An overnight shooting sends two people to the hospital. It happened at Club 1244 in Columbus. Police responded around 1:30 a.m. They say the victims went to the hospital on their own. We're still waiting for more details in the case.

The Gold and Silver Trading Company is open for business today, one week after a murder inside.  The manager, Steve Toms was shot multiple times. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.  We speak with the owner to see how he is remembering his best friend, and moving the company forward after the tragedy.

Expect plenty of company on the road if you're planning to travel for Thanksgiving. AAA says 90% of the 42.5 million travelers will drive, and they'll pay for it too. Gas is up 20%, with an average of $3.42 a gallon, but so is airfare and most train tickets. Despite all this, experts say it's the largest number of travelers since the recession hit.

The biggest game of the season for some football fans is this Saturday, the Iron Bowl. Alabama wants to keep its National Championship hopes alive and get revenge after giving up a 24 point lead last year in Tuscaloosa.  The Auburn Tigers of course want to hold on to bragging rights.  We have a preview of the big game.
