Editorial: Don't Fight People

EDITORIAL:  Tis the season to be jolly. Would someone please tell that to some out of control shoppers?

The Friday after Thanksgiving was the traditional start to the holiday shopping season. But as you look for the perfect gift for your loved ones please remember your manners.

Across the nation we saw terrible video of people fighting to get to sale items.

Customers got into a pillow fight and trying to get to towels was on sale caught on video in Moultrie.

We also heard reports of shootings, people getting pepper sprayed, and fights. It is all over trying to buy different items at a discount.

That is not what this season is about.

The holidays are a time to remember our blessings, spend time with our family, and help those in need.

Not to fight over stuff in a store.
