Troy Davis' older sister dies

The older sister of Troy Davis, who fought for years to clear her brother's name before he was executed on death row, has died.  Martina Davis Correia died late yesterday in a Savannah hospital at age 44 after a long battle with cancer.  Troy Davis was executed in September for the 1989 killing of off-duty police officer and Columbus native Mark MacPhail -- a crime Davis insisted he didn't do. Correia worked for years with Amnesty International and other groups to challenge her brother's conviction. No word yet on funeral arrangements.
