COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A man police wanted for questioning after a teen was killed in a car accident has pleaded guilty in connection with her death.
Walter Holler plead guilty to vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident and was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but will serve five.
Police say Holler was merging onto J.R Allen Parkway when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
His actions caused 18-year old Smiths Station teen Natalie Windham to swear her SUV into a median before it flipped.
Windham was just two weeks shy of graduating high school when the accident occurred.
