Tip results in traffic stop, drug arrest

AUBURN, AL - Auburn officers conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck they after received a tip that it was transporting illegal drugs.

A search of the vehicle yielded 7.5 pounds of marijuana wrapped in a trash bag and located in the rear seat area. Nearly $400 in cash was also located in the vehicle.

Bradley R. Coach, 22, and Dominique Watson, 23, were arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana and transported to the Lee County Detention Center.

Watson was also in possession of five hydrocodone pills for which he had no prescription and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The bond on Coach was set at $25,000 and the bond on Watson was set at $28,000.
