(CNN) - The FDA could soon decide to put the morning after pill on store shelves.

The Washington Post reports the federal agency has until Monday to decide whether Plan B should be available to anyone who wants it.

Right now, you can buy it at a pharmacy if you're over 17 years old.

Otherwise, you have to have a prescription. The drug's manufacturer wants the pill to be sold on store shelves where other contraceptives, such as condoms, are sold.
