COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – More details are emerging on the charges against District Attorney Julia Slater's father.
An affidavit linked to the arrest of 78-year-old Charles Fessenden accuses the substitute teacher of making sexual comments to a 14-year-old student that made her feel uncomfortable.
News Leader 9 has learned that the student claims he asked her to come to his home and "dance on him."
Fessenden faces one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes and was arrested earlier this month in Phenix City.
Fessenden denies the allegations and his attorney Jeremy Armstrong said his client will be vindicated.
News Leader 9 will continue following this story.
