Sheriff's Office seeks public's help identifying robbery suspects

LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) – Troup County Sheriff's Office Investigators are still seeking help from the community in identifying two robbery suspects.

Shortly after 7pm, on December 23, a report of an armed robbery at Ribitz Bait and Tackle store was dispatched to Troup County Sheriff's Deputies.

After their arrival, they discovered that one clerk had been shot once in the abdomen by two armed assailants. The two suspects swiftly entered the store, grabbed money from the second clerk and shot the male clerk before making their getaway.

If you were in the area at the time of the incident or have any information you are asked to call Troup County's crime stoppers hotline at (706) 812-1000. 

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest in this case.
