Reward fund continues to grow in Steve Toms murder case - WTVM.com-Columbus, GA News Weather & Sports

$25K now offered for leads, arrest in jewelry store murder case

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The reward fund for a murdered Columbus man is reaching its highest level yet.

Community members, local businesses and Crime Stoppers are adding to the fund, which now stands at $25,000.

It is all for information leading to the arrest of Steve Toms' killer.

Toms was found shot to death inside the Gold and Silver Trading Center last month.

If you would like to help -- you can make a donation at any Suntrust Bank to the "Banding Together for Steve" reward fund.

Columbus police still urge anyone to call them if they have any information that may help find the suspect who murdered Toms. Their number is (706) 653-3400.

    COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus Police are fanning out across a neighborhood as they search for the driver of a stolen vehicle.  The police department confirms that it has officers in the area of Buxton Dr. and Winifred Ln. The search comes after officers attempted to pull a stolen car over early Friday morning.
