Surveillance video released in Midtown Square Apartments burglary

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Two thieves break in to an apartment complex and the entire scene was caught on tape. Now police are hoping you can help them find the suspects.

Columbus police say two men are responsible for a burglary at Mid Town Square Apartments on Boxwood Boulevard.

In the surveillance video you can see one of the suspects kick through a door in what appears to be the laundry facility at the apartment complex. Then you see the pair walk through the building, entering the exercise room.

At one point the suspect even notices the surveillance camera on the wall and points to it, while the second suspect keeps his face covered with the hood of his sweatshirt.

The burglary happened on December 22nd and now police need our viewers' help in identifying the men.

One is described as six feet tall, 200 pounds, and he was wearing white pants and a blue jacket with white stripes.

The other suspect is approximately 5'8", 170 pounds and he was wearing white shorts and a green jacket.
