Police seek men using fake money at businesses

Authorities in LaGrange say they need the public's help finding two men they say tried use counterfeit money to pay for merchandise.

Police tell us on December 27, two black men entered Dollar General at 200 Colquitt Street in LaGrange. The suspects attempted to use a fake $20 bill, but they fled before police arrived.

They were similar encounters with fake bills reported at a Zaxby's, U's Beauty Supply, Krystal, and McDonald's.

A surveillance video shows the two suspects trying to use fake bills at a restaurant. One of the suspects is wearing a black and gray jacket; the other is wearing a red jacket.
