MOST WANTED: Police search for suspects in CVS robbery

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are still searching for two suspects who robbed a local drug store at gunpoint.

CVS Pharmacy on Hilton Avenue in Columbus was robbed by these two suspects during the early morning hours of December 16.

The same store has been robbed a couple of times within the last four months.

Officer Deborah Whitley with the Columbus Police Department says investigators are not sure if these two suspects are responsible for all of the robberies at the store last year.

The two suspects are dangerous and definitely wanted for the crime they committed back in December.

Police are hoping surveillance pictures will help them locate and arrest these wanted men.

"One had on a grey sweatshirt with a black tee-shirt underneath, gray sweatpants and black tennis shoes, the other hooded suspect had a black hoody on black pants and black tennis shoes but underneath those hooded sweatshirts they also had a ski mask over their face," says Officer Whitley.

No one was hurt during the robbery but police need help getting these dangerous criminals off the streets.

If you know anything about this crime or the wanted suspects please call Columbus Crimestoppers at 706-653-3188. If your tips lead to an arrest you can receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
