Two men charged with operating a drug clearinghouse at car wash

GEORGETOWN, GA (WTVM) -

After a four month undercover investigation, Quitman County Sheriff Deputies along with the Patula Drug task force have arrested two men for selling marijuana and operating a drug clearinghouse in Georgetown at a car wash of off Highway 82. 

Christopher Canty, 24, and Tyrice Foster, 23, were both taken into custody Thursday just before 12:00 p.m. 

Undercover officers say they videotaped and audio recorded the men making drug deals out of the car wash. The car wash was once the location of a gambling place kept by Theresa Davis, the mother of Tyrice Foster.

Both Canty and Foster have been charged with selling marijuana and operating a drug clearing house.  The men had no drugs on them at the time of the arrest.

The are currently being held in the Miller County Jail.
